Frequently Asked Questions
  1. How does the new prepayment system works?

By registering a credit card or PayPal account, your packages will automatically be processed through our new AUTOPAY system. By signing up for AUTOPAY, your packages rather than going on hold pending payment, our system will automatically apply all Aeropost charges to the credit card or PayPal account on file in MyAero and we'll immediately prepare your package for shipment to your country.

If you choose not to sign up for AUTOPAY, when your packages arrive in Miami they will be placed on hold under the status "Pending Payment". You will receive an e-mail requesting you to pay your freight charges online in My Aero so that the package can be shipped to your country. Packages that are pending payment will be held in Miami until an online payment is received. Once your payment has been received, the package status will change to “Payment Received”.

If your package does not have an invoice upon its arrival in Miami, the system will prompt you to upload one before allowing payment. Once payment has been processed, your package will be sent on the next available flight.

You will be required to pay locally any duties and customs brokerage fees that may apply. Please keep in mind that home delivery charges and customs brokerage fees will be invoiced in local currency and must be paid locally.
