  1. How do I benefit from registering a credit card for AutoPay?

By registering a credit card your packages will no longer be held in Miami while waiting for manual online payment. When we receive a package in your account, our system will automatically apply all Aeropost charges to the credit card on file in MyAero and we'll immediately prepare your package for shipment to your country.

  1. How do I sign up for AutoPay using my PayPal account?

Log into MyAero. Go to “My Account”, “Settings” and “Payment Information". Here you can accept the PayPal Billing Agreement which will automatically flag your account with AutoPay using PayPal. You can remove the account from AutoPay by deselecting the Billing Agreement.

  1. What happens if I don't have a valid credit card registered in my account?

Your packages will be held in Miami and we’ll send you an e-mail letting you know that your package is pending payment. Then, you must go online to pay in MyAero. Once we receive confirmation of your payment we will prepare your package for shipment to your country.

  1. What happens if I have a credit card on file but the payment for a package doesn’t go through?

This may occur due to communication problems with the bank, or with your credit card. When this happens, you will receive an e-mail letting you know that the package is pending payment, and you will be able to pay manually in MyAero.

We recommend that you verify your card information on file or contact your bank to find out why the transaction was declined in order to avoid delays in the future.

  1. How can I register a credit card for AutoPay?

Log into MyAero. Go to “My Account”, “Settings” and “Payment Information”. Here you can register one or several credit cards. The card that you select as "default" will be the primary card used for AutoPay.

  1. Is it safe to register my credit card for AutoPay?

Yes, it is totally safe. We are certified by StartCOM, PCI Compliance and QualysGuard. We offer the highest level of security for your online payments.

  1. Which credit cards are accepted for AutoPay?

The credit card you have been using to pay for packages up to this point is a valid credit card, so you have to do nothing to proceed with this new enhanced Auto Pay feature. We only accept international cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and KeyCard.

  1. Once my package has been paid for, do I have to pay again in my country?

If your package does pay duties, you will have to pay duties and customs handling fees when you pick it up.

  1. Does AutoPay also apply to my regular mail?

No, regular mail, such as letters, is paid when you pick it up in your country.

  1. Can I add a Credit Card to MyAero without signing up for AutoPay?

Yes.  Simply proceed to “My Account”, “Settings” and “Payment Information”.  There you will see a checkbox selected for AutoPay.  Simply uncheck this box to remove your account from the AutoPay system.
